I took my car out of storage this morning. The oil was pretty fresh when it
went in storage, but it looked dark, so I decided to stop at Jiffy Lube this
one time -- normally I change the oil myself (using a Honda filter).

5 guys stand around my car as two guys work on it. Their comments made me
laugh, and feel pity for them.

"What is that. An NSX? Looks like they tried to copy the Corvette."

"A V-6? Ha. I don't drive cars unless they have a V-8. You need that
extra weight to slide the rear-end out going around corners."

"I would put a V-8 in there. Does it fit? I bet I could do it"

"Not that's it a bad car, but I would buy a Corvette. The extra two
cylinders make it more reliable."

(from the guy in the bay). "You said you bought this two years ago? Has
the oil ever been changed? It still has the OEM filter on it"

"Why don't you pop the hood so we can check the coolant level"

"The manual says 4.5 qts, but I already put in 5 and it still shows a qt
low. Do you want me to put in 6 qts"

"Is it fast. Not as fast as a Corvette though, huh?"

"These are aluminum wheels, so they shrink and grow. When they get hot, the
rim expands and makes the pressure go up".

"You want 33 lbs in the front - the side wall says 44?"

"I couldn't get the filter off so I had to take off a bracket to get the
filter wrench on" (I had him show me what he did).

I AM NOT MAKING ANY OF THIS UP !

It was ridiculous -- but they did change the oil.

I WILL MAKE TIME to do it myself here on out.
